Cary Group awarded Gold in EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

Cary Group has been awarded a Gold Medal in EcoVadis’ global sustainability assessment for 2025. At the same time, the company’s overall score has increased to 85, placing Cary Group among the top five per cent of companies worldwide.

EcoVadis is a leading independent provider of business sustainability assessments. It evaluates companies against 21 criteria across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Its methodology is based on internationally recognised standards, including the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, GRI standards and ISO 26000. The results are compiled into an overall score on a scale of 0 to 100, together with a medal reflecting the company’s relative performance.

The EcoVadis sustainability ranking is based on a company’s performance relative to all companies assessed over the previous twelve months. Cary Group’s Gold rating places the company among the top five per cent of companies globally.

Cary Group’s climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as being aligned with the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. By 2030, using 2022 as the base year, Cary Group aims to reduce its absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% and its Scope 3 emissions by 52% per million SEK of value added (gross profit).

Autoklinik Bilskador expands through another acquisition of a body shop

Autoklinik Bilskador, Ryds Bilglas’ body shop concept, continues to expand and strengthen its presence through the acquisition of the body repair business JC Billackering AB. Autoklinik Bilskador was launched in 2026 as a consolidated company for the body shops acquired by Ryds Bilglas, part of Cary Group, over the past few years.

JC Billackering was founded in 1979 and is a well-established company with extensive experience in body repairs and paintwork. Over the years, the workshop has built a strong position in the local market. As part of the acquisition, JC Billackering will be integrated into Autoklinik Bilskador and rebranded in line with Autoklinik’s visual identity. The acquisition strengthens the combined expertise and capacity within Autoklinik Bilskador and creates strong conditions for continuing to provide customers with high-quality and sustainable repair solutions.

Zentrale Autoglas acquires workshop in Rostock

Zentrale Autoglas, a leading specialist in bus and coach glazing and part of Cary Group, has acquired the Rostock-based auto glass business Zentrale Autoglas as of 1 July 2026.

Zentrale Autoglas Rostock provides vehicle glass repair and replacement services for passenger cars, buses and commercial vehicles. Through the acquisition, Zentrale Autoglas strengthens its presence in northern Germany and establishes operations in Rostock. Although previously unaffiliated, the company shares its name with the existing Zentrale Autoglas operations, making the continuation of the established brand a natural fit.

Ryds Bilglas expands with third shopping mall location

Ryds Bilglas, part of Cary Group, is proud to announce the opening of its newest workshop at Westfield Nacka Forum, outside of Stockholm. The new workshop becomes the company’s third location in a shopping mall and its 189th workshop across Sweden.

Ryds Bilglas was the first company within the Cary Group family to establish workshops in shopping centres – a concept that has since been successfully adopted in both the UK and Belgium. The initiative supports Cary Group’s strategy of being where its customers are, making vehicle glass services more convenient and accessible in everyday life.

Located on level -1 of the parking garage, just steps away from the mall entrances, the new workshop allows customers to combine a vehicle glass repair or replacement with shopping, dining, or other errands.

Westfield is one of the world’s leading operators of retail destinations, and Nacka Forum is among Sweden’s most visited shopping centres. The new workshop strengthens Ryds Bilglas’ presence in the Stockholm region.

Ryds Bilglas opened its first shopping mall location at Mall of Scandinavia just outside Stockholm in 2023, receiving very positive customer feedback and strong demand. This was followed by the successful opening at Westfield Täby Centrum, also located outside of Stockholm. The new Nacka Forum workshop further strengthens the company’s footprint in the Greater Stockholm area.

Autoglass Clinic opens flagship Service Center in Brussels

Today, Autoglass Clinic, Cary Group’s Belgian subsidiary, is opening a 250 square meter Service Centre in Brussels' Docks Bruxsel shopping complex. Here, motorists can have their windscreen repaired or replaced while making their time useful or enjoyable.

The opening is an industry first for Belgium. Within Cary Group, the concept already exists in Sweden (Stockholm) through Ryds Bilglas and in England (London) through National Windscreens.

State-of-the-art Bolsover Distribution Centre expands National Windscreens offering

Charles Pugh Glass and National Windscreens, part of the Cary Group in the UK, have officially opened a new state-of-the-art Distribution Centre in Bolsover, marking a major investment designed to enhance customer service, support future growth, and deliver a greater product portfolio across the UK.

The glass distribution facility was designed from a new build, housing over 200,000 pieces of glass, stacked 12 metres high in the bespoke 134,000 sq. ft facility. The increased storage capacity strengthens service levels through optimised order picking, faster replenishment, and greater product availability. 

“This isn’t just about bigger space, it’s about smarter service”, says Stuart Boon, UK Managing Director. “Bolsover Distribution Centre enhances our stock availability, delivery times, and provides access to an even broader range of products”.  

Bolsover was chosen for its ideal location and its ability to support recruitment and retain a skilled workforce.   

The warehouse features bespoke racking angled for safe glass handling, advanced warehouse management software, and AI-assisted specialist equipment for precision order picking at height. These enhancements improve efficiency, reduce handling, and ensure products arrive in perfect condition. 

Environmental responsibility is built into the facility, which boasts solar panels, air-source heat exchange for climate control, and EV charging points.

Szybex acquires Euro-Glas and strengthens its presence in southern Poland

Szybex has signed an agreement to acquire Euro-Glas, a family-owned company from southern Poland operating in the vehicle glass repair and replacement. Szybex is one of the leading VGRR specialist in Poland and was acquired by Cary Group at the end of 2025. 

Szybex acquisition of Euro-Glas includes four service locations: two in Kraków, one in Tarnów and one in Rzeszów. Upon completion of the acquisition, the number of Szybex’s owned branches will increase from 15 to 19. Together with a network of over 200 partner locations, this provides full nationwide operational coverage and strengthens Szybex’s presence in southern Poland. 

Both Euro-Glas and Szybex were founded in 1992 and have spent over three decades building their operations on a similar model, local service points, quality workmanship, and direct customer relationships. 

“Euro-Glas is a company with very similar DNA, a family business built on quality and customer relationships. Integration within Szybex means we can combine their experience with more unified operational and quality standards, while maintaining high service quality. The acquisition also means that Szybex strengthens its nationwide coverage” says Wojciech Ossoliński, Deputy CEO at Szybex.

Cary Group UK has acquired Rapid Windscreens Limited, further strengthening its position in the UK market alongside its operations National Windscreens.

Rapid Windscreens Limited is a well-established provider of windscreen fitting services based in the city Corby working across Northamptonshire in the UK. Corby is one of the fastest growing towns in the UK with consistently strong demand from fleet and insurance customers in the area.

By integrating Rapid Windscreens Limited into the National Windscreens network, Cary Group UK enhances their ability to meet increasing demand, particularly in the insurance sector, where National already has positioned themselves as a trusted provider.

Previously owned by the Farr family, the sellers Stephen Farr and Catherine Farr have been actively growing the business and its solid reputation since 1993. Steve and Catherine will remain with the company and be supported by Cary Group UK.

Cary Group's sustainability commitment until 2030 focuses on four key areas: climate, circular offerings, our employees, and business ethics. Having a responsible supply chain extends across all these areas.

Cary Group's goals for the reduction of carbon emissions, goals that are verified by the Science Based Targets initiative, include reducing CO2e emissions from Scope 1 and 2 by 42% and Scope 3 by 52%, relative to gross profit, by 2030. In 2025, we also committed to SBTi Net Zero, meaning that we have a long-term ambition to reach net zero by 2050. Cary Group has entered into an agreement to acquire 70% of Glazing Services, the leading specialist provider of bus and coach glass repair and replacement in France and Belgium. The acquisition represents a further step in Cary Group’s strategy to build a European platform for heavy-vehicle glass services.

As part of the transaction, Glazing Services’ current owners, Patrick Collignon and Alexandre Marcq, will remain shareholders and continue to lead the company. This partnership ensures continuity for customers and employees, while leveraging Cary Group’s European network to further develop the business.

 

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Bray-sur-Seine, France, Glazing Services is the number one bus and coach glass fitting specialist in both France and Belgium, with national coverage and long-standing relationships with major public and private fleet operators. The company operates through a combination of owned fitting subsidiaries, franchise partners and a centralized distribution network, enabling fast response times and high service reliability.
