Cary Group appoints Rudolf Rizzolli as Deputy CEO

Cary Group, a European leading vehicle glass repair and replacement company, has appointed Rudolf Rizzolli as Deputy CEO and new member of the Group Executive Management Team. Rudolf is currently CEO of MeinAuto Group Germany, a position he has held since 2018.  

In the Deputy CEO role, Rudolf will have the management responsibility of most of the Cary Group Central Business Functions.  Rudolf will also serve as responsible for Cary Group’s Business Segment Rest of Europe, which includes UK, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Benelux. Rudolf will report to Anders Jensen, CEO of Cary Group and will be joining Cary Group in January 2025.

Rudolf Rizzolli is currently CEO of MeinAuto Group AG Germany, the number one online retailer for new cars in Germany.  He joined the company as CEO in 2018 and has been vital in the digitisation of the company and to position the company as market leading in car leasing in Germany and Europe. He has also previously served as CEO of Sixt Leasing SE in Germany and CEO of two market leading automotive retailers in Germany.

Expressglass, part of Cary Group, unveils SafeDrive – a new business area specialising in road safety

Expressglass, a Portuguese leading provider of automotive glass repair and replacement services, is pleased to announce the launch of the new business area SafeDrive, specialising in road safety. The business area is created since Expressglass has acquired the ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance System) business unit from the company CardioID Technologies.  

Through SafeDrive, ExpressGlass intends to become industry leader in transforming, and making, road mobility in Portugal safer. 

"We see this acquisition as an opportunity to become national leaders in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems market. The main products marketed by SafeDrive include: 

  • SafeAssist – Advanced driving assistance through artificial intelligence. 

  • SafeLocation – GeoTAB telematics, offered to fleet manager to better manage their fleet, tracking the cars, having information on the routes. 

  • SafeAware – Mobileye, an aftermarket equipment offered to bus companies or school vans which detects death angles of the vehicle. 

  • Safelock – Alcohol interlock aimed for the truck and bus segment (to measure alcohol levels before starting the engine).
