Ryds Bilglass Norway becomes Cary

Ryds Bilglass with 48 workshops around Norway is changing its name to Cary. The specialisation in repairing and changing car glass will continue to be a vital part of operations, but the aim is to widen their offer in the future.

”We are proud that we now can take this step on the Norwegian market. It is a part of becoming an even stronger player, as a member of the coherent international family Cary Group. The name change also gives us the opportunity to expand and offer even smarter and more sustainable solutions to our customers within damage and car care services”, says Tone Jakobsen, Managing Director Cary Group Norway AS.

Ryds Bilglass was established in Norway in 2014, but was founded in Sweden over 70 years ago. Since then, business has have grown by acquisitions of family run businesses and franchise opera-tions in the Nordics and in Great Britain.

“The new name and brand is an important part in our continued venture and it was created by combining Car+Ry(ds) (=Car care by Ryds). It gives us the opportunity to clarify our customer focus and sustainable business model, while still honouring our heritage and experience. Our ambitions with a wider offering is all about developing solutions that will sustain the life and increase both value and safety of our customers’ vehicles. We call it smarter car care”, says Tone Jakobsen.

The new brand will take place over a three-week period, where our new website cary.no and all workshops will be successively transformed to Cary.
